This interactive training is one part “how to understand your homeless patrons” and one part “how to work with difficult patrons”. It focuses on very practical tools you can use every day to resolve problems and prevent conflict. There is a special focus on patrons with mental health and substance abuse issues.
Breakfast and lunch options are available for purchase at The Blender Cafe inside BPL and at these Downtown Beloit restaurants.

Seed Library Returns for a Third Season

The heirloom seed library returns to Arrowhead Library System for a third season. Big thanks to Kirsten Almo at Edgerton Public Library for introducing and spearheading this project.

ALS Strategic Planning to Begin

Arrowhead Library System is working with WiLS to complete a new strategic plan. A committee comprised of system staff, member library directors, system board trustees, and library board representatives will identify strategic issues and opportunities ALS will use to determine its goals and services in the coming years.

LLS staff will do a basic refresher of circulation in Workflows and the SHARE catalog.  If you have any additional ideas, feel free to submit them in with your registration form and they’ll add them to the agenda.
