LUCKY SEVENS READING CHALLENGE

What is it?
Lucky Sevens Reading Challenge is a reading challenge designed just for kids in 1st and 2nd grade.
Similar to our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten, Lucky Sevens challenges kids to log their reading. When all seven logs have been completed, your child will have read 49 books!
What’s the goal?
The goal is to encourage your children to read, get excited about reading, and incentivize their reading progress.
- Upon completion of each log sheet, children will get a brag tag to keep and collect along the way.
- When kids have completed the Lucky Sevens Reading Challenge, they will get a prize and recognition for their efforts in the library.
Lucky Sevens allows children to set small reading goals, making them easy to reach.
How do I get started?
Pick up the first reading log at the circulation desk to get started any time.
