ART WALK
We are so very excited to announce our 2nd Annual Art Walk that will fill our Story Gardens with art created by 18 talented local artists.
This an art installation that features crescent moons along the pathway in the Story Gardens. Eavery moon has been decorated by a local artist with their medium of choice. The moonss will be on display throughout the month of August and then be auctioned off as a fundraiser for the library on Tuesday, September 9.
We want to give a huge shout out to the Milton Lions Club for generously cutting out the moons for us and for TLC Restoration, LLC in Milton for providing a projective coating to each piece. We so appreciate them being able to add this project to their schedule. And thank you to Connie Bier, Vicki Cottam, and Wendy Rummelhoff-Ramos for helping library staff develop this Art Walk.
We are thrilled to be able to bring even more art into the library, to celebrate local artists!
ART WALK AUCTION
Tuesday, September 9, at 5:30 pm
The 18 moons created by local artists for our Art Walk are going up for auction as a fundraiser for the continued development and maintenance of Story Gardens. You could be a proud owner of an amazing piece of art.
Join us for a night of supporting the library. Ryan Koenig will be our auctioneer. More information about the night available soon! The wings are currently on display so make sure to stop at the library and pick your favorite!
This event is also a part of the Friends of Milton Public Library Business After 5 event with the Milton Chamber of Commence. Come learn more about the Friends and how you can be involved!
