What is it?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Milton Public Library’s Library Lope: Let’s Dash for Books is a fundraiser created by the library’s Teen Advisory Board (TAB). TAB is a group of 20 students who help plan teen services and programs. This year is the Lope’s 9th year, and money raised will go towards teen programming and the teen book collection. TAB has been able to raise approximately $6,000 since 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n

We’ve always said that this was a small, but mighty race. But through the years, participation has continued to decreased. After many years as an in-person event, we have decided to change things up going forward! We still want to keep the run going and give people the opportunity to support the library’s Teen Advisory Board. Plus, we have so much past race swag still available!<\/p>\n

Starting June 1, 2024, you can register to participate in the Library Lope: Let’s Dash for Books – anytime and anywhere! Run where you like to run. Run at a new location. Challenge yourself – or don’t! Just have fun. You can even walk! TAB has even created a fun scavenger hunt<\/strong><\/a> for participants to complete.<\/p>\n

Each $15.00 registration will include a medal and a button<\/strong>. You may also add on past Library Lope swag for an additional cost! You can indicate that you would like to pick up your items for free at Milton Public Library, or have them shipped to you for an additional cost.<\/p>\n

Even though we’re not running in person, we still wanted to build a community! We have created the\u00a0Library Lope: Let’s Dash for Books<\/strong><\/a> Facebook group\u00a0so participants can share their runs, successes, and photos from the scavenger hunt! And we would love to see where outside of Milton people are running the Lope.<\/p>\n
