Are you someone who thinks monsters are scary? Or funny? We have lots of books in our library, but most of them are about funny monsters! This week we’ll share a funny story about a monster who thinks he’s scary, but he really isn’t! Our Story Packet includes 3 fun activities. We hope to see you at the library soon!

  • If you enjoyed making the monster plushie, you might enjoy some more sewing projects. Our library system subscribes to an awesome service called Creative Bug. Log in with your library card and find patterns, videos, and tutorials. Many are made just for kids!

With a Summer Reading Program theme of “Imagine Your Story,” it’s been fun to think about some of the classic fairy tales and stories that have told and retold for generations. The story of the “Three Little Pigs” is one that most children dates back to the 1850s! Think of how many children have heard this story!
