Summer is a great time to explore the world of entomology. One step out your door and you’ll probably be able to find several kinds of insects flying or crawling around. After watching the video, stop in at the library and find some fun books on BUGS! Maybe you can learn more about the bugs in your yard or the nearby park.

Are you someone who thinks monsters are scary? Or funny? We have lots of books in our library, but most of them are about funny monsters! This week we’ll share a funny story about a monster who thinks he’s scary, but he really isn’t! Our Story Packet includes 3 fun activities. We hope to see you at the library soon!

With a Summer Reading Program theme of “Imagine Your Story,” it’s been fun to think about some of the classic fairy tales and stories that have told and retold for generations. The story of the “Three Little Pigs” is one that most children dates back to the 1850s! Think of how many children have heard this story!
