Library Renovation Temporarily Limits Access

breaking ground - construction equipment by libraryEvansville, Wisconsin - April 6, 2018 - Renovations to the original Eager Free Public Library structure will begin Monday, April 9. The First Street entrance, drop box, and elevator (elevator is available for use once inside the building) will not be accessible to patrons or staff. All visitors are kindly asked to use the Main Street entrance. All materials should be returned inside. Materials returned after hours may be deposited in the drop slot in Main Street entrance door.

Eager Free Public Library will offer two solutions for patrons who cannot enter the building without the use of the elevator. Staff will bring materials to patrons at the door or patrons may enroll in complimentary homebound delivery (certain restrictions apply). Please call the library to make arrangements for either of these services – 608-882-2260. The library's catalog, SHARE, is available online and on the BookMyne mobile app. Place materials on hold and you'll be notified when your materials are available for pickup.

Eager Free Public Library will remain open during renovations and will continue to host outstanding programming for patrons of all ages–including Summer Library Program. Visit our events page for a list of all upcoming library events and follow us on Facebook.

Join Us For Our Design Workshop - September 17, 2015

The Eager Free Public Library invites you to participate in shaping the future of our library on Thursday, September 17th at a design workshop being held at Creekside Place. Our Architect, FEH Design, will be on-site from 9AM until 6PM sketching ideas, answering questions, and soliciting input about what you want to see incorporated in the design of our library when it is expanded. Feel free to stop in any time throughout the day or attend a presentation at noon and 5PM to talk to one of design experts. At the end of the 5PM presentation participants will be asked to select the idea they like best.
