MISSION:
Our purpose is to serve all the citizens of the Village of
Clinton and the surrounding community by providing access to
materials, in a variety of formats, that will enrich personal
life, enhance the family unit, and promote and strengthen the
community. Although the library endeavors to accommodate all users,
special emphasis will be placed on providing current popular
materials for all ages, promoting young children's interest in
reading and learning, and having adequate reference resources
to meet the needs of the community.
|
We Focus Primarily On:
Popular Materials
Best-selling books from the New York Times Top 15
Frequently requested books, magazines, and videos
Oprah's Reading List
Preschoolers' Doorway to Learning
- Award-winning picture books
- Beginning Reader's collection
- High interest children's videos
General Reference
- Medical
- Legal
- Home and vehicle maintenance
Clinton Public Library makes a special effort to interest young
readers. During summer vacation, we have many programs intended
for elementary and middle school children. Through the Summer
Reading Program, children are rewarded for the time they read
and stimulated by interesting and exciting programming.
Each summer we offer a fun-filled Summer Library Program for kids.
