Baby Lapsits -
Wednesdays from 10-10:45 a.m.
For children 3-24 months. A baby and toddler lap-sit story hour for parents and their children ages 3-24 months. Parents hold their children while we listen to stories, sing songs and do finger plays and movement activities. Followed by time for free play by the children and conversation with other parents. Designed to help parents feel more confident teaching and reading to their children.

Speaking, singing, and reading to babies sparks their creativity and brain development. Begin your baby’s road to reading with 15-20 minutes of rhymes, songs and simple books in these spirited programs for our youngest patrons. A playtime follows each program.

Our storytimes incorporate the "6 Building Blocks for Reading Readiness"
